  • 1 cup 200 g country sugar
  • ¾ cup 150 g freshly grated coconut
  • ½ cup water

Equipment

  • Bowl
  • Plate

Method

  1. Wash the red poha well. Add ½ cup water and let it soak for 10 minutes.
  2. The poha should become soft but remain separate. If there is excess water, gently squeeze it out.
  3. Transfer the soaked poha to a bowl. Add grated coconut and country sugar.
  4. Mix everything well until evenly combined.
  5. Take small portions and press firmly between your palms to shape into laddus.

Notes

Soak the red poha for 10 minutes until soft, not mushy.
If there is excess water, gently squeeze it out.
Press firmly while shaping so the laddus hold together.
Use fresh grated coconut for better taste.
